About U of T EngiSci Admission

Anyone knows whether ENG 4U grade must be included as one of the final 6 scores for Engineering Science admission?
I heard that last year it was not peremtory, as long as it is higher than 75%.
What about this year? Is that gonna count?
The booklet from U of T says no while the website says yes...
My top 6 average without ENG 4U is 96.5 but if I count it then it's only 94.5.
Although the official minimum average to get in is 90%, I heard that the lowest average admitted was 94.
It's kinda ergent and I would appreciate it if anyone can be so kind to enlighten me.

On their own website it says "The mean entering average for our students entering First Year in the Fall of 2010 was 93% based on their final grades in their required courses for admission."

Wow, cool, I applied for Biomedical engineering..
And also I heard that (so many rumors..) the engineering admission office is very mercyful to girls because there are sooo few of them. Is this true?

Don't think that's the case.. I really doubt that they have any official policy about boy/girl-ratio, and after all they are professionals

A guy in Waterloo's Mechanical Engineering complained that there are only 5 girls among the total population of around 200...
The admission office would probably take this into consideration when they deal with female applicants.. Afterall, they are doing engineering guys some favour...
