Admission Average

For admission averages, they use your 6 marks (consisting of prerequisites for the program).

However, for scholarships, how do they calculate your average? For example, in Laurier they take your TOP 6 Marks without prerequisites!

Do any other universities do this? Because if I go into Science, my admission average will probably be below 90. But if I can use my top 6 marks, my admission average will likely be above 90. How does it work?

I think that varies from school to school.
But for most schools, Laurier being one exception I guess, they award scholarships based on the average that you were admitted with.
That's what happened with all the schools that I applied for anyways.
