You should be able to get accepted to all of the programs barring you're supplementary applications weren't extremely poor.

OH man, I thought I was a pretty alright student with some decent ECs, until I saw this post.

If everybody's like you, others won't even have a shot to those school lol, just sayin,

pLease tell me that not everyone you know in IB program who's also applying for business schools have as much as achievement as you do.

I'm scared now after seeing you post lolllll

NEVERTHELESS, IT'S CERTAINLY MY PLEASURE TO COME ACROSS WITH A GOOD STUDENT LIKE YOU IN MY LIFE.

K people- its a lot of fluff. actual decent stuff isnt that much, since a lot of its just one time things (hence my problem-no commitment other than deca debate and bball.

as for how many ppl like this in ib- not too many. but in my class there are quite a few who are really good (hence we compete between eachother). of those really good people- 3 of them applied (including me 4) to ivey, queens, schulich -most go into med.

so dont worry too much.

very similar to my application 2 years ago with the exception that you have better grades and awards. assuming you write a proper essay, you'll get in everywhere.

A friend of mine actually got accepted to Queen's last week and got the 36k scholarship. I think as long as your sup app was amazing you will get in, considering the fact that you have AMAZING avgs.

For QC, you really only need to meet 87% cut off, then it's 100% on your PSE, EC, and supplementals. For scholarship-wise, then that's when high average counts.

36k is Chancellor's Scholarship. Highest merit based award at Queen's University. Students nominated for the scholarship are given early acceptances (before the result of award is announced). The grade plays no part in admission process for chancellor's nominees, because if his/her average is above the 87% requirement, acceptance will be given.

windsongs4, I am just wondering here. I see that you have taken biology as well as science in your 12th year and applied to some programs such as biomed. I'm in a similar situation as you in which business is one of my routes and the other being either engineering/medicine. I am just wondering if you felt that taking the sciences have made it harder to excel at other courses ( of course with your 98 in biology that may not be true) but i want your insights as to how taking the sciences has affected your grades and how it could affect someone else (like myself). please respond back, inbox being the best way to get back to me :) thank you so much in advance

I was referring more towards the Entrance Scholarship, where high averages matter.
