Applying to multiple programs at one university? Help!

A photo of ConnorBB ConnorBB
I have applied to 3 programs at McMaster and 2 programs at Western. I have read that universities only send out one offer of admission, does that mean that I will have to wait to be accepted or rejected from one program in May to find out if I have been accepted to one of my backup programs? Also does this rule out any chances of early acceptance?

That doesn't make sense... just because you get accepted into one program at McMaster doesn't mean you won't get accepted into another program there.
Each program will give you an acceptance or rejection independent of the other programs you applied to.
