Architecture or Civil Engineering at McGill?

A photo of architengineer architengineer
I have been admitted with condition (provided I obtain my cegep credits and diploma) into both Architecture and Civil Engineering at McGill University.

I have a tough decision ahead of me. What are your opinions?
I feel like architecture encompasses all that truly excited and interests me. Nonetheless, if I major in Structural Engineering, it should be equally rewarding, despite their differences.

Because McGill architecture is a limited program (40 students out of ~600 applicants), I feel silly turning down the offer but at the same time, the poor job prospects concern me.

If you feel that the job prospects are really this poor, and that you would find structural engineering equally rewarding, then I would go for that.

I think you may have to go for Civil Engineering at McGill University because this program has good job scope. The program in Civil Engineering is comprehensive in providing the fundamentals in mechanics and engineering associated with the diverse fields of the profession, in offering choices of specialization and in fully reflecting the advances in science, mathematics, engineering and computing that have transformed all fields of engineering in recent years.

My sister went for McGill Architecture, and I know that she had a hard time finding internships during the summer. I think she got one during the summer in her 3rd year, not sure about the rest.

This is all the information I have :s
