Calculus Help

A photo of thecookiemonster thecookiemonster
Hi smart people:

I missed a couple calculus classes, and I am way behind, and struggling with the homework atm (long weekend didn't help). I was hoping some of you could help me out so I can gain a bit of an understanding before i go in for extra help tomorrow.

They're really, really easy questions, I am just drawing a blank.

Find dy/dx for each function:

y=-3log3(x+2) <-- the three after the log is subscript btw

Differentiate:

y=3^xlog3x <-- again 3 after log is subscript

y=3^lnx

.......................

If anyone can help, mcuho thanks will go out to you!!

Thanks, but all that provides is the answer, which is in the back of the book. You don't get a full rabbit, but you can have this :rabbit:

Did you try clicking on the "show steps" button? :scratch:

I found the show steps button, I had to type in differentiate at the beginning I guess.

Unfortunately the answers were quite different than the back of the book for 2 out of 3.

Be sure to add enough brackets. I don't think they let you do custom base so for questions like y=log3(x+2) use y= ln(x+2) / ln 3 instead

This is the only reason why I passed AP Calculus.
