calculus in university??

A photo of jzouglas jzouglas
I'm applying to western, and for the program I'm applying to in later years it says that I'll need to take calculus. I'm taking calculus now in highschool, but I don't want to put it in with my top six (not that great of a mark... :P ). If I don't put it in with my top six will I have to take it again in university??

What seems reasonable to you doesn't seem reasonable to me. Putting something in your top six doesn't mean you don't have to take it in university, and you don't "put" something in your top six. Your top six is just that: the average of your highest six U/M courses, including all the courses that are prereqs for your prospective program. There's no choice element to it.

If first-year calculus is a requirement for your university program, then you're going to have to take it. End of.
