There's another thread on this.
I think you can,
just delete the program.. or decline it, delete it, then add a new one.

Oh, haha, should have made your question more clear.
But to answer that question, yes you can.
As long as you have the pre-req courses/credits to transfer into another faculty, it shouldn't be too hard at all.
I know a lot of people that did/do that.

And there is another thread on this, just have to dig deep.

No, no.
I meant university pre-reqs.
Like..
some faculties require a certain amount of English credits or Math credits..
as long as you have those, you can transfer.
It also depends.
If you want to transfer after your first year of university studies, they will ALSO look at your high school marks.
If you transfer after your second year of university studies, your high school marks won't count for anything, just your university GPA.

In general, yes.

You start university as a student taking courses that will advance you towards earning a certain major, not as a student majoring in a certain area. You can take whichever course you want, as long as you have the prerequisites for it, are not restricted from taking the course, and there is space available in the course. Switching into business can be a problem. That is because business courses are often restricted to business students. If that's the case for the school you plan on attending, then you'll have to either apply to be a business student now or do so after first year.

Usually, though, switching majors is not a big deal and can be done without any hassle.

So if I were to decline an offer from SFU, can I pick another program to reapply with no extra charges or anything? And that would mean I can't apply with the original course which I got an offer on again as a secondary choice, right?

I don't know about BC universities.
I know you can do it for Ontario universities through OUAC.. don't think you can do the same for BC schools.
