Can i switch from Kinesiology to Life Science

A photo of sjaoneone sjaoneone
I was wondering if I apply to mac and accept kinesiology and after a year decide to switch to life science is that possible at all? Or am I wasting a year doing kinesiology. My end goal is to go to med school.

1. Why would you apply to kine just to switch?

2. You can still go into med school with kine.

I think it might be tough to switch, as you have to have the prerequisites required to get into year two for life science. For Life Science II, you need Math, both psychs and both biologies. I'm not sure how many electives the kinesiology students get but I don't think it would be possible to satisfy all of the requirements. Not saying that it is not possible, but it may take an extra semester to get caught up.
