Chances of getting into McMaster Health Sci

A photo of HereisGianni HereisGianni
I'm a Grade. 12 student with an overall average of 93%

1st Term:
Chemistry - 96%
Adv Functions - 92%
Philosophy - 93%

2nd Term (as of right now, semester finishes in June):
Calculus - 92%
English - 90%
Bio - 89%

Just curious on the chances of getting into the prestigious program McMaster's Health Sci.
I understand to even be looked at you needed around a 92% ++ .

Marks barely matter. Post your essays.

I wouldn't say they 'barely' matter, because marks always matter.

I can tell you that people with a 92% get in and others with a 98% can be rejected. Mac Health Sci admissions is largely dependent on the supplemental application. (A 95%+ average is very helpful too) If you want to know if we think you're a good candidate for admissions or not, let us review your essays.

Depends on how good your supp app is. The higher your avg is the better though, in case of tiebreakers. I'd say a 95+ is competitive for health sci; but you definitely have a chance.

Yes I understand they do look at your essays in the supp, and thanks for your input. :)

I can't remember it that well, sorry.

Why is everyone so reluctant to post their essays? =(
I'm so curious to see them all.

Someone above said that they only look at your essays if you have a 92...is that true? I thought it was 90%.

It is 90%. There's too many rumors going around about Mac Health Sci..

I really enjoyed your essays. I think you stand a good chance especially if you can up your grades a bit more. The last two essays were exceptionally well written and supported. Your only weakness lies in your first essay -- I felt it was a bit too straight forward in its structure -- and the similar composition of the 3 essays, which could be looked down upon.

Best of luck. =)
