Clothing for University

A photo of moodeline moodeline
So this is a really random question, but I've worn a uniform for the past 7 years, and thus do not have as many normal clothes as people who wear them everyday:P So I'm going to have to buy some more clothing for next year, I was wondering if anyone had a list of what clothes to bring to school? Or anything that would be helpful!

yeah , basically the same clothing you would wear outside of school. I plan on bringing a lot more comfy clothes though, University is pretty casual, you don't really have to dress up a lot.

Definitelyyyy.
That's gonna be the first thing I buy, wherever I decide to go.
Get some jeans... can't go wrong with skinny jeans and a tshirt.
Maybe a light jacket for autumn..
Big poofy jacket for winter..
Some shorts for summer if you're comfortable walking around in those...
A skirt or two for nights out....

Very interesting. Pretty rare to see guys wear skinny jeans around here..
Well not rare but it's not something you see everywhere you go.

Yeah, I need a new hair style before I head off to uni too!
I just cut my own bangs tonight but I'll need to cut + dye it all again before I leave.

xD ikr. We still have about 5 months to go before University starts. But its still something to think about. Likewise, I have always been wearing uniforms throughout my whole years of schooling. This is going to be a huge change while I spend 30 minutes each day on choosing the proper clothes to wear.

I wish universities had uniforms lol :bounce:

Speaking of clothing, do universities have dress codes like high school? Would a girl be suspended or something like that if she wore skimpy clothing?

Wear whatever you want. I wear jeans, a t-shirt and a hat pretty much every day, sometimes a button up flannel or woven shirt or a sweater if its cold, I don't really have a lot of clothes. Everyone wears the same clothes they wore in high school anyway. In the few years I took off between highschool and university, I forgot that UGG boots even existed. Then, this winter, BAM! IT'S LIKE I'M IN HIGH SCHOOL ALL OVER AGAIN!

From the amount of sweatpants and pyjama pants I see in lecture, theres definitely a lot of people who don't.

I haven't had to dress myself for school since I was 10. So I don't know what people wear to school normally or to university. It's just one of those things I haven't had to deal with for years.

If you can walk, then your pants aren't tight enough.
