Commerce vs. Business Administration

A photo of FinallyItsLupus FinallyItsLupus
Hey, just wondering if there were any differences between the two degrees. Is one any more specialized than the other?

I currently don't know whereabouts in business I want to end up and so is either one better for my predicament? It's a toss up between McMaster and Laurier for me.

Thanks!

+1. Laurier has an excellent business program that is well established and has the possibility of co-op.
Even without co-op I would say Laurier is a far better choice.

It largely depends on the school/program history. Older programs (eg. Queen's) will use Commerce as it was used in the commonwealth (I believe) and newer programs (eg. Schulich) will use Business Administration as it is used in the United States.

Forget the name on the paper and check out the required courses as well as the campus.
