Community Service Letter

A photo of Mot345 Mot345
I want to apply to some scholarships that require a letter detailing community service. Does a letter mean that it should be fairly short and to the point instead of being like an essay with a thesis and such? Has anyone here written these before? Thanks!

I have gotten these before and have written them.

If you are writing it, it is usally a page or so long describing you involvemnt within your community. They are usally pretty basic, and to the point but include some key poins.

If you have you get one from another person, you basically want the person to write about your involvemtn in the community. The length will depend on your involvement, and the person you get to write it.However they are typically a page or 2 long. I would ask someone you have known for a while and have worked with in the community before.
Hope this helps!
