A photo of sssk9797 sssk9797
What is the difference between calculus A and calculus 1 at u of t?
I tried to using google but I couldn't find anything.

Students taking track one engineering take Calculus A and B whereas students taking civil, mechanical and other engineering subjects take Calculus 1 and 2

Thanks in advance for any help!

As I understand it, Calculus I is easier than Calculus A. According to the 1T4 handbook, "The course (Calculus A) content isn't too different from Calculus I, but the midterms and exams are known to be a lot more difficult."

Steele is correct. It makes sense too; because the TrackOnes can go into any Core 8 program they like after first year, they have to know as much math as there is for the rest of the Core 8's. And the ECE's (who also take Calculus A) learn the most math.

... After the first-year EngSci's, of course. =)

Is it possible than to get into one of the other core 8 programs before the start of the school year?
I have no interest in ECE.
