Dislike my field. Switch to engineering, what are my chances?!

Hey guys
I'm currently a second year science (biology/biotechnology) student at york university. And I've started to loose interest in the subjects, and I doubt I will make it to med school. I've always liked engineering but couldn't get the chance.

I don't know how this works but I'm about to apply to Ryerson civil engineering and UOIT manufacturing engineering. I'm a science student so how does this work? Will they look at my high school transcript as well as my university one?

I didn't do too well when I started off but here are my marks for courses I've completed so far..

Applied Calculus II B+
Biochemistry B
Introduction to Microeconomics A
Introduction to Macroeconomics B
Biological Science (BioI/II) B
Chemical Structure (Chem I) C+
Chemical Dynamics (Chem II) C+
Computer Use: Fundamentals A
Applied Calculus I C+
Introduction to Calculus, with Vectors B

(Grade 12 physics was 79%).
I'm taking other courses now including physics I/II.

Do I have a chance to get accepted to Ryerson civil and Uoit manufacturing eng?

They will probably look at both high school and university. Since transferring can often be a very specific process, you should probably just contact Ryerson and UOIT and ask what they would do in your case.
