Do universities make exceptions??

A photo of Cpinto2 Cpinto2
I was recently rejected for CS at Waterloo. I had surgery about 2 months ago and i missed school for about 3 weeks (the last few weeks before midterms were released). I missed a lot of school and had tests/assignemnts to complete when i returned. I was wondering if it would make any difference if i were to call Waterloo and tell them about it? lol i know its a long shot but it doesn't hurt to try. Also my brother graduated from Waterloo last year and he is currently working for Microsoft, like i said before i dont know if this would make any difference at all.

-thanks

Well, it can't possibly worsen yours chances by calling.

I don't think they care.
I missed two weeks of school the first semester for legitimate reason and they never gave a damn.
Anyways, can't hurt to try, but tell us how it goes.

You definitely should try. Not only calls but emails could change their first decision. How your eleven grades?
