My friends buddy dropped out of first year Engineering at McMaster, he said to me "if you like to do math for 8 hours a day then by all means knock yourself out but if you don't then you won't enjoy your undergraduate studies". That's just 1 persons experience, on the other hand my sister went to Waterloo for System Design Engineering and loved it.
