Does this cause me to be automatically rejected?

I made a minor typo in one of my applications.
I put ____2010 - ____2010, instead of obviously 2009-2010.

Also, I made a minor grammar error in one of the essay questions - does that cause my application to be rejected completely?

You won't know until you're accepted or rejected. :P

Haha, well, that's comforting :P
But has anybody made this mistake and still get accepted?

A minor grammatical error will likely not cause you to be rejected. And, I don't think the date is a dealbreaker either.

The firt thing that is looked at is the content of the application, and it is the most important factor. The date and grammatical error ae less important especially if they are isolated mistakes but as I said before the content(ie hat you have done etc) is the most important part of the application!
