A photo of PearlYang PearlYang
Hi, I have been accepted into environment and business co-op at Waterloo AND Management co-op at UTSC. But I don't know which program to go for.

Also wondering how can you get into Rotman commerce in second year university?

Thank you all. Help needed.

lol, no I'm in high school.

Here is a link though. It explains everything fairly well I think.

Waterloo Enviro and Business isn't a very good program. UTSC is one of the better business programs. It's not top-tier or anything, but it's very good. Plus it has co-op.

What do you mean that the waterloo program isn't good? I don't know much about it. I just don't want to make the wrong choice here.
Also do you know if the UTSC program is competitive to stay in?

Waterloo Enivro and Business isn't that good of a program. Waterloo doesn't have a business faculty and there arts program isn't that good. Waterloo is a great math/engineering/cs and accounting school, and has a decent science faculty. The Enviro/Business and Arts/Business are kinda useless. You take a bunch of useless courses, a lot of just arts programs, and its really hard hard to land co-op jobs.

Meanwhile UTSC is one of the better business programs.

Something like:

1)Queen's
2)Ivey
3)Schulich
4)Laurier
5)Rotman
6)Waterloo (just accounting)
7)UTSC
8)McMaster

Some of them could be switched, but as you can see UTSC is one of the better.

Hey there,
I'm going to tell you to go for Waterloo. I applied too. Waterloo has one of the best env programs in the country and the building is still under construction. If you're thinking about just going into business than Waterloo won't be a good idea but otherwise I'd say go for it. See you there!
