Do university programs look at your grade 11 marks? or is admission based on your top 6 grade 12 courses?

The only time your grade 11 marks might get looked at is for scholarship purposes. Or if for some weird reason they are a prereq for your program. Otherwise it's purely grade 12 marks.

Grade 11 marks will be looked at for early admissions only, for many university programs.

In BC, they do not look at grade 11 marks at all.

They will be able to see what you got but it won't be used to calculate your admission average.

Make sure you have the grade 11 prereqs for whichever faculty you want to get into.

Good Luck!

They do look at Grade 11 marks. If you did really well in grade 11 you will get accepted to universities earlier (in the first round of admissions). That being said, ultimately it is just based off grade 12 and if you do well in grade 12 you will get accepted (albeit in late Feb/March)

Yes, you can get earlier acceptance based on your grade 11 marks, however your grade 12 marks will determine whether that acceptance will be revoked or not.
