Graduate Degree

To get a graduate degree in Engineering, is a thesis required?

Because my teacher was telling me that you don't need a graduate degree for Engineering since companies care more about experience and a graduate is more for research or academics. Is that true? Also, I really do not want to spend 2 years on a thesis.

In that case, I was thinking of going for an MBA instead. Does that seem like a better plan? What are the pros and cons of an MBA or a Graduate Degree?

Yes you need a thesis, and almost all grad programs have some sort of research involved, its unavoidable I'm pretty sure lol
And with an MBA you'll get a job in business, with a background in engineering. I'm sure a lot of people do that it's up to you
