Hey guys, I just applied to my 3 universities for kin; UofT, York and Mac. I'm just curious, has anyone gotten early acceptance in any Kinesiology programs yet? If you have can you PLEASE tell me your averages and universities!! Thanks a lot!

I applied to all kin programs as well, and haven't heard anything from them yet, except confirmation of my application. I think most universities wait for first semester grades, unless you apply in October or sometime for early acceptance.

University of Windsor Kin (Waiting)
McMaster Honours Kin (Waiting)
Waterloo Co-op Kinesiology (Waiting)

Hi there,
I am a third year student at the University of Toronto enrolled in Kinesiology. Uoft is slowly trickling out admission offers to students, so its important to stay patient. UofT’s kinesiology program has been a really great experience for me! Being a smaller faculty we have a really strong sense of community which makes for a great social scene. One of the more unique aspects of our program is that we have physical activity rotation classes, where you alternate through various sports and fitness setting during the year and earn a credit.
I hope this answers your question, good luck with everything!

What was your grade 11 average?

If I recall it was hovering around low 80's.
This year my average is around 87,88.
Also got waterloo kine a few days ago too, but not sure where to go.
Be patient and work hard. It will come.

Yuppers. Got into Waterloo's Co-op Kinesiology program last week. Also got into Life sciences at Mac, where you can branch off into Kin after your general first years.

I applied to Mac Kin and Western Kin

If I have a high 80's average (87-89), should i be worried about getting in?

How long till i should expect to get accepted?

Anf finally, what's your thoughts on the two programs. Which would you choose, and why?

the dude at the kinesiology booth at mcmaster got in with a 87 so you should be fine. Westerns cutoff is around a 84-85 so you'll be good for both

Accepted to my other 3 programs, but those were my top 3 :(
Getting accepted would make me feel so much better, especially with all the work I've got coming up.

Gah. Hopefully won't be long till they make it down to me then!
My average should have been 90%+, but IB doesn't submit any marks for our full-year classes until April...
