You applied to life sci at queen's? I applied to their general science program (QS) because I couldn't find a life sci program there.

Could you tell me the OUAC code for Queen's life sci program?

Going from my average compared to others I've seen I should have gotten my western acceptance but I haven't, should I be concerned?

right now is the earliest of offers, so i really wouldn't be too concerned unless you had a very high avg in gr. 11 and didn't get an offer :)

Thanks :)

Early acceptances are commonly given to applicants with 90s, that being said if your average is a mid to high 80 you still can be accepted to most science programs. Good luck!

Honestly, as long as you're in the range of your program's admission average I feel like you'll get in. These are all mostly really early acceptances, so its not the best to compare your own grades to.

Could someone briefly explain the major differences between 101 and 105 applicants, I’ve been seeing it being asked a lot in other threads as well.
Also does being out of province even give you an advantage or disadvantage?
Was this helpful? Yes 1

A photo of Anonymous Anonymous
OUAC:

101 applicant is a student within Ontario
105D is a Canadian applicant outside of Ontario
Other 105 are international applicants

Universities claim there’s no advantage or disadvantage but for early admission, the majority (not all) of acceptances are within the province (101)

Do you plan on accepting that offer? With those averages, you have a pretty good chance at some top-tier schools.

Did anyone with a grade 11 average of 86% get an offer for the science program at Queen's?
Everyone here has been accepted with 90s and my average is not competitive so I'm really scared I won't get accepted.
