how the university application process actually work??

A photo of crane114 crane114
I'm graudating next year. I've been wondering for a long time that it says on OUAC website that each student can apply to 3 programs within one university but how does that work??? Is it like three separate applications? or is it like a first choice and second choice thing, you get rejected by the first choice and then your appliaction will go to the second choice? Does it matter if I apply to more than one programs within one faculty?

Really appreciate it if someone could answer...

Ask your guidance councilor in your school.

Actually no...thats not a good idea as it may vary depending on the university and program.

For an example at waterloo, you cannot apply to both accounting PA and FM. But at some other universities you can apply to everything in a faculty.

If i were you just call the university you are interested in, they are usually very helpful and easy to reach when it comes to application season.
