I was wondering..

Hi everyone,
I have several questions in mind regarding after admissions.
1. First of all, I was wondering if I'm going to another country for approximately 2 months for vacation, will I miss out the chance to register for an university? * I heard that you have to register in July or something.
--> Will I still be able to go on vacation then?
Note* University of Toronto (Scarborough or St.George)

2. Sorry to sound like a noob, but what do you do after you accept an offer?

Thank you!
Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

I know UTSG registers for courses in July, I would assume UTSC would be similar too.
You can find out for sure in the viewbook, it has it in there.

After you get accepted.. well, there is nothing to do really..
Just keep your grades up, don't let it slip too much.. and wait for final admission.
If you're planning to move away from home, make sure you register for residence and get that all sorted out.
Look around for scholarships, bursaries, apply for student loans.. etcetc

Thanks Cyynthiia,
I was also wondering, does that mean I should stay in Canada until I register/finish my course selection?

Most universities do course selections and stuff online. As long as you have access to internet and your email on vacation, i don't see why you'd have to stay home!

Have fun on your trip!

All UofT course registrations are done online. They give you your start time in EST, though, so just keep that in mind. Courses fill up quick, so make sure you're at a computer even if it works out to 4am wherever you end up being!

Definitely agreed.
I forgot to register for U of A courses.. I was a few hours too early and every single class was full except for an 8 AM one..

Gotta camp on that registration page!

Everything can probably be done online.
