Is Criminology a teachable?

A photo of dfrance55 dfrance55
I havent decided if I want to pursue law school or become a teacher. If I take criminology, is it a teachable degree for teachers college? Or should I take a double major?

Criminology is not a teachable subject, but it may somehow be related to law as a teachable subject. You may want to look into that in more detail through faculties of education or the Ontario College of Teachers. That said, you can always become a little kid teacher by doing the primary/junior division regardless of your prior degree. That just means you wouldn't be able to teach high school ever if you became teacher.

For your reference, a list of teachable subjects can be found at http://www.oct.ca/become_a_teacher/teaching_subjects.aspx.
