Lame Question: About University

A photo of kathleenMARIE kathleenMARIE
This is lame, but how do university's work exactly? College, you pay, and they give you the classes you need to get your diploma. University you pick? uhmm. I'm so confused, but I feel really stupid asking this question. How do you pick them? How do you know which to take? :S Uhhhg. confusion.

If you look at the undergraduate calendar of any university, it'll list all the requirements to obtain a particular degree. So you may need 120 credits total to graduate, 50 of those may be mandatory courses and the remaining can be electives. You can choose to take whatever electives you want, so long as you have the prerequisites for the course.
