how are you supposed to complete this?
im enrolled in ba econ and accounting and am only MA129, do i need to do this?

someone please filll me in!

Yes, you do. It is on LORIS. It uses Maple Software. As long as you are above 10/15% your score doesn't matter if you're taking MA129

It's the easiest = high GPA = good

There's no real need to take MA103 or MA110 unless you want to do financial math or something else math-y

^aha thanks for the reminder, just cleared it..

and hopefully I do well in it...
First half is the stuff we did in af and calc
rest is new stuff like higher derivatives..etc

Just remember that it does eliminate some paths right off the bat. For instance if you take MA129, going into the finance stream is eliminated completely (as MA103 is a pre-req for MA270).

I got higher than 70 and they recommend I take Ma103 but is it useful and how much more difficult is it. Many people have told me it is hard and many tend to just drop down to Ma129 anyways. I'm just worried that it blocks a potential path to finance(CFA)!? Remember that as of now I am heading for the CA but don't want to close any doors.

^ If you are a strong math student and are willing to put in the work, it shouldn't be too bad. Someone has to get high marks in it :P
