Laurier Honours Economics or UTSC Management

A photo of Peepkaboo Peepkaboo
I have a difficult time choosing between:

1)Laurier honours economics (ASSUME: Unable to transfer from BA to BBA and will be stuck with this program for 4 years)
or
2)UTSC Management (NO Coop regular)

Achieving to become (Profession): Chartered Accountant (CA)

Opinions appreciated

Thanks

-Are you on a tight budget?
-Do you prefer to live out of city (assuming that you live in TO)?
-Is economics something you see yourself liking?

If you don't think you can transfer to BBA from BA and economics is definately not your thing, go to UTSC.

+ 1

Which school do your prefer? (campus, rez, atmosphere, social life, people, school name, etc.)

Honours Economics is fully-accredited by ICAO.

-Emm...For now, I'm not going to worry about budget
-I'm just concerning about which program I should accept + which program may lead me to be more successful/ better opportunities(Don't really want to regret choosing it...)
-I'm fine with economics (Don't HATE it + don't LOVE it...middle)
-Don't mind being in city/ out of city (I don't mind about rez, school name,..etc)

I would say UTSC would be better imo. Econ at Laurier will be jammed pack with you know econ courses (less biz courses) and unless you really love econ, then it's probably better to look to UTSC.

This I think.

Are you good at math and do you like it? If you answer kind of or no to any of those two, it might be smart to rule out Laurier.

I think I'm starting to lean towards UTSC but I'm still not sure =P
Thanks for taking the time to reply to this post though =]

Well if you want to see the taste of the econ+accounting program at WLU, here's a link:

http://www.wlu.ca/calendars/program.php?cal=1&d=423&p=747&s=181&y=23

(**MA130 is a typo. It's actually MA129.)

And when you compare it to the BBA stream:

http://www.wlu.ca/calendars/program.php?cal=1&d=830&p=1628&s=367&y=44

There's a lot more economics course.

Besides, a BBA is a lot more valuable than a BA with economics + accounting imho.
