McGill - What format should the OUAC reference number be in?

A photo of ruliwe ruliwe
I just received my OUAC reference number so I logged on to my McGill application to fill it in. The number I received is in the format 2011-****** but when I typed it into the box in my McGill application it said invalid format. I also tried typing in just the 6-digit number without 2011 but it didn't work either. I settled for 2011******0 and they accepted that as a correct format. I had read somewhere that you should add a 0 to the end.
I'm worried the number is incorrect now.
Has anyone else had this problem?

If it worked, why are you worried about it being incorrect?

I know I had to do the 2011******0 thing for U of T. I can't remember if I did it for McGill though.

I'm worried they'll think the 0 is part of my number or something.

They don't ask you to add the zero. The formation is 2011, no dash, then the rest of the reference number. They add a zero onto it themselves.

Yeh, I was like wtf at first too. Was gonna ask here, but I figured it's probably a norm.
