You have a good chance don't worry. The cutoff last year was 81.4%. Should be around the same this year. MAC doesn't usually change their cutoff ranges by much. I got accepted last year with an 82% then they asked that I maintained an 80% final.

I just applied to Mac after sitting down and deciding that I need more backups. Im a little upset with myself for not doing it earlier because I really like what Ive seen so far. But does anyone know if my application will even be considered? OUAC didnt list the program as having its applications "Closed", so I figure maybe their policy was that the deadline they set is to guarantee having your application considered, and otherwise it kind of depended. Make sense? I really hope it counts lol...

EDIT: Just found on the McMaster website that their deadline is May 1st, so Im good =D Hoorah, I should definitely be getting accepted I think, my midterm average should be 83 or 84ish.

Ya I did, took about 2 weeks. Don't worry if you've been accepted it'll show up. The farther you live from McMaster (and if your in a rural area), the longer it'll take.

Still feels good to see it in actual writing though.

84% is about the average to be accepted if that helps.

Ok so I'm really nervous whether I'll be getting in or not in the next couple of weeks. I'm predicting a 81 average with my pre requisites, but an 83 for my top 6. Any idea if Mac needs all the pre-reqs counted into the average? Here are my marks
Semester 1
Economics - 90%
religion - 88%
English - 78%
Data - 76%

Semester 2
Business - 82-86% (I'm guessing)
Accounting - 82%
Adv. Functions - 68-70% (depending on whether my teacher decides to bump me 2%)

As you can see I suck at math, so I'm hoping Mac doesn't count my Adv. Functions mark towards my average. Will they because it's a pre-requisite or will they just consider my top 6? That's really the only mark that's killing me right now..
