Nursing at McGill?

A photo of Anonymous Anonymous
Hi,
I'm from BC and wondering about Ontario schools.
Is anyone in the nursing program at McGill? Why is the admission average only a 82.5%? I thought it would be at least a mid 80s.

Thanks in advance.

Also wondering about that. The percentage for all math and science is 80% and the overall average is 82.5. I thought this was a bit low for McGill. I was wondering if maybe this was a cutoff and in actuality the averages are much higher?

Well first off, McGill is in Montreal (Quebec) not Ontario if that will affect your decision at all.
I'd assume that their admission average would be at least high 80%s, where did you get the average?

It's from McGill's website. http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/standards/ontario/

Yes it is in Montreal, which mean that if you are applying from anywhere outside of Quebec and do not have CEGEP marks the average tend to be a bit higher.
