OSAP Queen Elizabeth II Scholarship - How Likely?

A photo of ffcelik ffcelik
Well all I know is that it's based on academics and economic condition.
If my average is 95 and I'm 18 and living away from family, would I qualify for the full 3,500 dollars?
The only reason I see why not is that I'm getting a lot of scholarships already, plus I'm getting grants from OSAP, too.

Thanks.

Does your family live in Ottawa? OSAP doesn't really distinguish whether you live away from your family or not, you're still a dependent until 4 years after high school ends. They do distinguish whether you are in commuting distance or not, however.

No, I live away from them entirely.

Unless you're legally emancipated you're still considered a 'dependent.' Stupid, I know. I'm almost 21, been living away from home for 4 years, working and making my own money, but apparently I'm still dependent on my parents.
