Private School Courses

A photo of Anonymous Anonymous
Hey, I was just wondering whether certain universities look down upon private school courses. I have heard that some universities hate private schools where some universities don't care. If you know any could you tell me which ones and for what university programs.

Thanks

This.

Only select programs at Waterloo care. U of T Rotman and engineering programs also care. Otherwise, nobody else cares. If you want to buy grades and struggle in university that is your own prerogative.

So only University of Waterloo engineering and U of T engineering programs do. My sister took private school courses but was completely fine, didn't struggle, in university. However, she took the private school course with a lot of skill and experience from her past years hence, why it didnt really impact her in university.

So for other universities I would be fine with a private school credit. Even McMaster?

Yeah you would be. I've been talking to my guidance counselors about it as well because I might to private school night school sem 2 and they said it was fine. BUT when registering online for universities its your responsibility to ensure that the courses show up.
