A photo of Cupcaked Cupcaked
Hi there, has anyone been accepted to the Life Science program at Queens? Or any program at Queens at all?

I was accepted in late Feb in Arts/Science. I believe most chancellor nominees have received offers by now. When I attended the march break open house they indicated that due to the changeover of their portal site that the offers this year have been delayed compared to prior years. They indicated that the bulk of their offers will begin over the next couple of weeks.:cat:

I got accepted to Queen's Sciences a few weeks ago. I thought I applied to Life Sciences, but I guess it is just a general Sciences admission for now. I am also not a Chancellor's Nominee, so yours should come pretty quick! Good Luck!

I was a chancellor nominee and I recieved my acceptance before the break.
I'm sure you'll get in, as long as you're in the mid to high eighties.

I believe Chancellor's Nominees don't have to do the PSE? To chameleon203, I'm wondering if you submitted your PSE before the early deadline? Thanks! (:

@hapmie, I submitted it on February 27. OUAC hasn't updated yet, so I'd go straight to myqueens.

Queens has one of the lower acceptance rates, in conjunction with a relatively small student body (PSE!). Anyway, the cutoff for Life Science after first year is 3.3 GPA.

The cutoff varies from year to year.... One year it was 73% and it has been as high as 78%. Keep in mind they don't count your elective and you drop one of your courses - they only look at your top 3.....
