Queens Science and PSE

hello,

i just have a question about Queens PSE. I currently have an 87 average. ( which I will most likely maintain) but I want to ask about filling out their PSE. I didnt fill it out lat year and obviously got rejected. However, I want to know what to exactly write. I was told extracurriculars, but I really dont have any :( I was told many people just over exaggerate their ECs but I am not going to do that. Should I just write and be honest, even though I have a limited list of ECs? Furthermore, I was also told from word of mouth that it is really more about how you say the things you say, spelling, grammar, annunciation, and so forth. It is more the conventions they care about. please help. thanks. and ALSO! will an 87% get me into the science program?

Why didn't you fill it out last year..? It's mandatory as part of the Queen's application process, I don't understand why you would have bothered applying to Queen's but not filled it out since there is no way you would have been accepted without it :S (unless you were a Chancellor's scholarship nominee).

Anyway, the PSE is mostly lists of your achievements/ECs/volunteering etc and then a short essay (like 300 words). Here's a sample PSE: http://www.queensu.ca/admission/apply/firstyear/requirements/documents/pse/practicepse/psegen.pdf

Never lie on a supp app, be honest about what you've done. And a 87% is right on the cutoff for Queen's science (typically it's 87-88%) so it's hard to say, it will really depend on how strong the applicant pool is this year.
