Hi;

I am thinking to go to engsci –EE option to study “software”.

Is it more intense than Software stream under regular ECE department?

thanx

The first two years you'll be with the eng sci's doing completely unrelated courses like quantum mechanics, etc and then in 3rd and 4th year you'll be in the same class as the ECE's.

If you already know you want to do software, I'd save the hassle and sleepless nights and just go to ECE!

one more question:
does engsc have it's own diploma or it has the same diploma as other 8 cores?

Same diploma, it just says B.A.Sc in Engineering Science instead of Electrical or Computer. Still a B.A.Sc though!
