Starting Salary for Carleton and uOttawa?

A photo of Anonymous Anonymous
Hey guys,

I know there has been alot of commotion regarding salaries with the top 3, however since sprott and telfer are one of my two big choices, I wanted to know if anyone found their salary reports - as I cant find them.

also personal preference of the two (which is better in your opinion)will help in my decisions.

thanks

Doubt they publish them...

I've personally heard good things about both schools though. And if your going into accounting where you did your undergrad is basically irrelevant (provided they provide all the courses required).

Carleton seems to be good if you want to study international business but I think Telfer might have a slightly better name.

Telfer has their co-op salaries for accounting (all accounting, not just CA jobs) here. Switch to fall and winter of the different years to get an idea of how much you can get each co-op term.

Carleton doesn't seem to have something similar. Hence why you should choose Telfer.

edit: so at Telfer, if you get in at a CA Firm first work term (best case scenario for you), you could make between $29728 and $37472 (the average and the max)

http://www.cecs.uoguelph.ca/co-op/academic_programs/meif#sr towards the bottom

Edit: and at Guelph, the low-end is $28800 and the upper-end is $40320 (this is Management Economics and Finance, which is what most people I know are going into)

Ah, nice! Thanks a ton

And Guelph co-op is more lucrative than UOttawa, yes!

That is all there is. What more do you want? Sprott/Telfer don't have salary reports similar to those of Ivey.

There isn't one specific number for BBA and one for Honours Ec (or the DDs). There is just Business and Economics numbers.

Does Laurier have any info on graduate data?

Just a quick thought here: it appears Laurier's average co-op salary (in your 3rd go around) are almost identical to Ivey's internships. Just a quick observation :)

No graduate info.

Only schools that do are Ivey, Queen's, Schulich and McGill that I can remember.
