University of Western Ontario - Economics

Hi, I'm in Grade 12 this year and is considering applying to Western for Economics. For the Economics program, it's listed that there is a recommendation for Advanced Functions and Calculus. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if this means that Advanced Functions and Calculus will be counted in my top 6?
Also, how much math will I be expected to learn in the first 2 years?

Thank you in advance! :)

I think Advanced Functions and Calculus are requirements, not just recommended.

You need gr 12 advanced functions and calculus to take the 1st year Econ course, but calculus does not have to count towards your required top 6 because you are generally applying to the faculty of Social Science. BMOS, I believe calculus counts.
