UofT Portal/UTORid Error

A photo of xCooLx xCooLx
Hello,
I have applied to UofT's computer engineering program. I have received the acknowledgement letter and have also enabled my UTORid.
But when i try to log into my portal, i get an error message saying:

An error occurred. Contact the System Administrator.

I have contacted Uoft but i was wondering if any one of you guys might have experienced the same problem or know someone who is having this problem. I would really appreciate any help on this.

Thank You

By the way, would a 90ish average put you on the safe zone for computer engineering at UofT and Waterloo.

Happened to me too :S I still managed to get to the Check Application Status page somehow though I forget how tbh. I'll try again later :P
And yeah a 90ish should give you a very good chance provided you have at least SOMETHING of value to write on your AIF/SPF

Hmm...when you mention your portal, are you referring to the applicant portal they sent you in an email (assuming they still do it this way)?

To answer your last question, the cutoff for ECE at U of T is mid-high 80's, so something in the 90's is a good bet.

Ok so I've figured out the problem.
I was trying to log in through the wrong portal site I guess.
I was able to log in through: www.apsc.utoronto.ca/myportal
But it was giving me problems when I tried to log in from: https://portal.utoronto.ca/
so those of you having this problem, try logging in through the other site.

Yeah, the second site there is the one we use to print off our lecture notes, course info, see our grades, etc. It's not accessible for accepted students until sometime in the summer, I think.
