Does anyone know what the cut-off average is going to be and how competitive it is to get in.

Also, how important is the supplementary application?

the admission average is 80% (3% lower than last year)
i personally don't think it will be very competitive.
grades are worth 60%, supplementary is worth 40% i remember.
hope that helps.
can't wait to get the offer!

yes i did apply
i applied in mid-december, my current top 6 average for uvic is 87 but anticipating to go up to 88 by april. (my english pulled my mark down)

you should start self-reporting your marks soon if you haven't done it and apply for residence too!

yes the deadline is feb 28.
i havent gotten a mail but i have gotten several email and have met up with uvic recruiter
if they are coming to your area it would be a wise choice to set a meet-up with them, you can get a lot of info :)
hope that helps!

I was going to self report but i dont know if i should since i just started my second semester. It says just to estimate what you think you will get but i dont really know. If i put like 90, 90, 80 for my second semester but dont end up getting that what will happen?

i was told to just simply estimate your mark.
if you get an early acceptance with your estimated mark and end up falling lower than their standard your offer will be taken away.
in april they will be getting your real mark from ouac, after they have seen it they will give out offers.
i think you should email admission if you want confirmation.
