Waterloo Computer Engineering

A photo of xCooLx xCooLx
Hello, I have applied to Waterloo's Computer Engineering program and I would like to know more about it. (i.e Course load, Co-op job placements and drop out rate?)

Semester 1
AP Physics = 88
Adv. Functions = 90
English = 81 :(
Computer Science = 90

Avg = 87.25 (Expected to be raised to at least 89 by 2nd semester mid-term)

In your opinion, what are my chances of getting accepted to this program?

Please me honest......

Thank you

Just because your marks are good doesn't mean you're in ;) People learned last year, they got rejected with 90s and i saw them rage on this forum about it.

Here's my marks:
Chem: 82
English: 83
Adv Functions: 83
Computer Science: 99 (My school takes it seriously, and prepares us well)

My average is 87 (I think)

Factors that play a role in admissions (From what i know):
AIF
School you come from
Participation and Scores in math contests
Where you took your courses (summer, virtual, night school, etc..)

But to be honest, i think you have a good chance, that 88 in AP physics looks real good.

Good luck to you bro and hope to see you there next year!

Thanks

I think i have decent ECs

2 sports team
Robotics club
Science club

Competition participation

2 math contests ( writing Euclid)
Avogadro chemistry contest
FIRST Canada Robotics Competition
VEX Robotics Competition

Decent essay

Would that be enough for the acceptance?

And Great Work on that 99 in ICS4U!!

I hope we both get in.......(y)
