I'm pretty sure you need Chemistry to get into Software Engineering as you asked what the admission requirements are for that.

Damn i hate physics, did you have physics first semester?

Yea I didn't take chem cause i never liked it :/ I'm taking physics right now how about you?

Is computer science less competitive than software engineering and does it require the same admission average? My school has some old booklets from waterloo which mentioned computer science average requirements in low 80's whereas now it's mid -80;s :S

it really depends on the competition of your entering class.

yes CS should be less competitive since there are more spots to enter it.

While reading the thread about the admissions coming up i'm starting to get nervous/semi-anxious :P

Anyone else have any insight on my chances of getting in based on what they heard/know.

Also, will my lack of competition participation really impact my AIF?

Thanks again! :)
