I'm assuming all you care about is the jobs in finance. In that case I like to classify finance in 2 sections: asset management and corporate finance. Asset Management finance is like portfolio management, mutual funds etc. Corporate finance is a lot more large but has to do with valuations... the main job that people want being investment banking.

Nonsense.

Finance: Slutty, cunning chicks and greedy, backstabbing guys
Accounting: No chicks and boring guys
Marketing: Hot chicks and aesthetic guys (no homo)

@Ian,

you'd be surprised by the amount of attractive women in accounting. 2 of our accounting profs here are actually very attractive. On rate my profs they got chilly peppers! and i've seen them. Just sorta old....

Why did you quote me ... lol - wrong post?

And the recent trend in accounting is a much higher female to male ratio. Quality though... not as good.

Basically.

Investment banking, which is where you have so much money you can actually make it rain, has a lot of hours though...so your life basically consists of these steps....

1) Work
2) Sleep (maybe in the office)
3) Repeat steps 1 and 2.
