Are you from ontario? What courses are you taking now? What are your interests? What do you like about medicine? Are you doing well in school? You need to provide some details....simply stating a general long term goal is not useful.

Schools hire guidance counselors for a reason.

Seriously, go talk to them and get your basic questions answered. They'll tell you what you need to take, what they recommend you take, and what they think would be the best option for you. Once you get that out of the way then come on here and ask specific questions if you still need to.

I was wondering if someone who was also going into thsimilar fields could help me with my decisions.
Guidance counselors are good but I prefer advice from students who already went through the process.

Well I say good luck, cause you've got a very ambitious goal there.

To be honest with you, the university that you do your undergraduate degree at won't really matter to much in the long run, it's more the grades you achieve well there (and make sure you study hard, I know you know but med school is very difficult to get into). I can't help too much with the process personally since I applied to arts not sciences but this outlines the education&training required to become a pediatrician. It even suggests courses to take in grade twelve and if you click on the links under "Related College&University Programs" it should give you a list of universities that offer these programs and you can investigate further from there.
