All universities will still accept you if you have repeated courses, they won't disqualify your application because you repeated a course,
but they have the right to accept someone who has taken the course only once before they accept you, even if you do better than them the second time around.

Some will ask you why you repeated any courses, took summer school or night school courses in the supplementary apps. I think if they don't like your reason they may take off a few percent. Waterloo takes 1-2% off for summer school/night school/repeated I think.
