Which university programs are you applying to?

Hi everyone!

If you're currently a Grade 12 student, chances are you've already heard your guidance counsellors talk about university. You might've had recruiters from different post-secondary institutions present at your school as well. At this time, you might even have a stack of viewbooks from attending university fairs and presentations.

Which university programs are you applying to?
Was there a university program you didn't know about that peaked your interest? If so, how did you find out about it?

Hope to hear from you all soon!

Sorry Alyssa. I didn't do too well on my functions test today...that explains why I'm in a bad mood. Sorry again.

I'm hoping to apply for the social sciences and or design. I'm torn on what to choose (if I get accepted)  because I'm so interested in both! Also, it wasn't really programs I wasn't aware of, it was more universities and what they offer! After the presentations, my whole point of view was changed.

Thanks for sharing! Choosing a program was difficult for me as well. Weighing out the pros and cons of pursuing each one helped me a lot. Ah I agree! University presentations can really get you thinking. Good luck in the future! :)

Psychology is what I would like to major in while having a minor in either world language/french (I'm a french immersion student) or Eastern Asian Studies as I am very interested in the culture and history of East Asia and would love to travel and experience life over there.

Ayy! Psychology was one of my programs of interest last year. Your minor choices seem really great, as having a minor in either one of them would allow you to learn more about another culture. Thanks for sharing! :)

Advanced Functions can be one of three math prerequisites. You need a 70% to be considered. You're better off doing Data to fill that prerequisite.

so if i do bad in one math and good in another..they will consider?..what if i do another math in private or night school?

Hi! Since the math requirement is one of MHF4U, MCV4U or MDM4U, they would look at the math course you got a higher mark in regardless of whether you took it in day school, night school or private school.
