Wilfrid Laurier University -- Honour Bachelor of Business Technology Management - BRANTFORD Campus

I was offered the course, and I have no idea what to do with it. It sounds interesting, but I'm "iffy" about since this coming semester is the first time it's going to be taught.

-Did anyone else get this offer? And what can I do with the degree?
It was "Approved by Senate, November 3rd 2010. Program available for September 2011."

I want to get in to Accounting, but this course sounds tempting, too .___.

Its just like Ryerson's Information Technology management program...you manage company's databases. Low paying jobs though

^ Yeah, it's not that stellar of a program.

What are your other options?

If it sounds interesting to you, then go for it. Otherwise...

Got this as an alternate offer.

Is there any way to contact them into getting an offer to Honours Economics?

Avg is 81.6, applied to H. BBA but got offered this as alternate.
Thanks.

That is because you are below the cutoff for Honours Ec (82).

Thanks.

Ive heard that if you contact admissions and state how important the program would be to you, they can consider offering an admission?

Know anything about that?

It's worth a shot. I have heard some random rumours of it happening (not specifically with Laurier). Try it, you've got nothing to lose. Maybe you can convince them that you can get to an 82 by the end of the year, or in summer school.

And I also got in to University of Guelph for Commerce, specifically Accounting

Ok so I called Laurier admissions.

Told them how I got the alternate to this program and my avg. of 81.6%.

Economics is at a 82 cutoff so I asked if they can wait until final marks come in.

The lady said to accept the offer, apply to residence in Waterloo, then change the offer to a Arts program.

Which arts program should I apply to so I can possibly switch to Honours BBA or H. Economics?

Any help appreciated. Thankk you!
