Place with good hairdressing classes?
I'm graduating high school this year and i'm wondering if anyone has recommendations for any beauty schools or other places that have good hair dressing classes for a beginner? I've heard of Blanche Macdonald and VCC's program so far. Are they any good?

This Is Real Life
Listen, people.

Stop making excuses. Stop being hateful. Stop being rude. Stop using words for the sake of hurting others. Stop being distasteful. Stop looking down on others. Stop generalizing a group based off of the traits displayed by the specific. Stop spreading negativity. Stop giving up. Stop letting obstacles hold you back. Stop acting on that bad attitude. Stop disobeying your parents. Stop being spiteful. Stop self-hating. Stop being discontent. Stop being irritated. Stop being mean.

STOP HOLDING YOURSELF BACK.

Start showering. Start holding hands. Start giggling. Start goal-setting. Start self-improvement. Start knowing your self-worth. Start knowing your limits. Start being polite. Start trusting. Start loving. Start caring. Start loving yourself. Start loving what you see in the mirror. Start being healthy. Start your work. Start good habits. Start smiling.

Start appreciating your life and what you have because everything is temporary and everything is worth giving your all. Whatever comes at you, good or bad, is worth learning from. Keep your head up and your eyes sparkling, because there is so much more than the frame of emotions and attitudes you are feeling RIGHT NOW.

You have the potential to make your mark on this world. And most of us fail to make the most of it. Please do everyone a favor, including yourself, and start working hard and start living life.

Thank you.

Important part:

Your grades do not reflect your intelligence. Your looks do not reflect your beauty. Your high school life does not reflect your future.

When you encounter failure, first, dissociate yourself from all the negative emotions. Part of this is realizing that there are other factors at play. For instance, if you failed a test, realize it isn't because you're dumb, but other factors like time management or study habits. Every time we experience something negative, we attribute it immediately to our weaknesses. "Oh I'm dumb" or "Oh I'm ugly" when in reality, it's usually not that. Stop beating yourself up, stop feeling sorry for yourself, and look for the real reasons. Learn to grow as a person, not avoid who you are.

So, look at yourself in the mirror and acknowledge your unique beauty. Look at other people and admire their beauty also, because they are a treasure trove of things yet to be discovered. Appreciate the good and the bad, because a second later, things will never be as it once was. Learn to love things and appreciate their natural beauty. A few years down the road, you'll look back and realize everything grew old.

Bridal Fashion Week Spring 2016
It's Bridal Fashion Week! Huh? Yes, that's right. Every April and October, bridalistas—dress designers, boutique owners, engaged celebs, tastemakers and editors—descend on NYC to see the new crop of wedding dresses from designers like Carolina Herrera, Monique Lhuillier and Vera Wang. For seven days, we editors live out of an SUV (stocked with Kind bars and back-up cell-phone chargers), bopping from one show to the next. In a sea of white and ivory, it takes a uniquely talented artist to design a collection that stands out, and over the next few days, I'll bring you those highlights here. Starting with…drum roll, please…

Angel Sanchez

Angel, whose eveningwear has adorned everyone from Taylor Swift to Eva Longoria, took 3-D flowers to the next level. Backstage after the show, Angel showed me exactly how he created these new embellishments. The 100+ tiny upright blooms on the shoulders of a high-low gown were made from plastic straws that were individually cut, peeled into petals and embellished with a single crystal. (How much patience did that take to make?!) Other standouts included a new spin on the capelet, where it was built into a dress with a whole lotta cleavage, a textured wide-leg-pants look, and a classic lace gown given a modern twist with appliquéd flowers. Well done, Angel!

Theia

Inspired by a Victorian artist who illustrated fairy tales, Theia designer Don O'Neill brought whimsy and fantasy to his latest collection. A skirt and crop top were swarmed by butterflies—in a good way!—with appliquéd and embroidered insects covering both. For the Bianca Jagger-wannabe bride, a white silk tux was perfectly proportioned. And another crop-top-and-skirt look featured lace with gorgeous art-nouveau macro blooms. Love!

Lela Rose

At Lela Rose it was all about the details. Anyone can do a matelassé gown, but one with the subtlest hint of sparkle here and there among the textured flowers? Genius. Or what about a simple sheath in front with sheer lace cutout sides that run over the entire back? Or an organza gown with the coolest corded lace patterns I've ever seen? From a designer who can be counted on to wow every season, this was one of her best collections yet.

It's been quite a day—so what's the best way to end it? With a cocktail at the exclusive Brides preview of One World Observatory's special event space on the 102nd floor of the World Trade Center. Lucky for me, that's only about 70 stories above my own office. Check in tomorrow for more from the Bridal Fashion Week runways.

Julianne Hough & Alessandra Ambrosio's Festival Fashion
Julianne Hough took a break from the events at Coachella to join Alessandra Ambrosio and a few more of our favorite celebs at the Forever 21 Barbecue on April 11. They both looked amazing in their cute, festive looks, and you can get them for yourselves right here!

Alessandra Ambrosio & Julianne Hough’s Festival Fashion

Julianne was stylish as usual as she enjoyed the celeb filled Forever 21 BBQ at a private La Quinta residence. She was already a few shades of cool with her new pink hair, but we love her casual style as well!

The DWTS judge wore the sporty chic Forever 21 Varsity-Striped Crop Top, $17.90, with denim shorts and a plaid shirt tied around her waist. We can take a few notes from the easy going way that she styled it with black ankle boots, and this cute top would also look great with a skater skirt or even leather joggers!

Alessandra was steaming hot in her barbecue look! She looked great in the Forever 21 Genuine Suede Fringe Halter Top, $24.90, and she opted for jean shorts as well that she styled with cowgirl boots and a turquoise necklace. This was perfect for the Victoria’s Secret model’s sexy style, and this backless top would also go perfectly with white jeans.

Jamie Chung was also another stylish attendee at the barbecue, and she arrived rocking the Forever 21 Ribbed Knit Halter Top.

Julianne Hough & More Celebs Rock Fun Festival Fashion

Coachella has been the perfect opportunity for all of our favorite celebs to step out in their best boho chic looks. Cody Simpson & Gigi Hadid were beyond cute in matching festival outfits, and everyone form Kendall Jenner to Sarah Hyland has been channeling their inner hippie.
